About Lisára
Lisára is a multicultural artist, songwriter, and sound healer who has lived across four continents.
Lisára’s spirit-infused music weaves multiple genres, ancestral influences, and savory rhythms with unapologetic lyrics, songbird harmonies, and occasional soulful rapping for a dynamic sonic experience that hints at the nature of life and inspires audiences on a multidimensional journey home to themselves.
Her multilingual performances have ranged from intimate healing retreats to crowds over 10,000, where she introduced Toots & the Maytals in one of their final performances together.
Before her solo artist career, Lisára grew up playing percussion in the school band, sang with her auntie at pow wows, performed as half of @Loveangelists with her love and founded a healing app that merged modern music with sound healing frequencies called Sexy Sound Healing. She also supported women to unearth their raw and unique gifts as a relationship & leadership coach.
Lisára graduated as the first woman of color forensic linguist (masters) in the Americas, having trained with the FBI linguist who broke the Unabomber case of the 1990s. She has studied music business with Dr. Mathew Knowles (Beyonce, Destiny’s Child), songwriting with Suzan Koç (Pink, Brandy, Ace of Base), and artist development with Kevin Shine (Kanye West).
